I love the wall to wall corals gives that real ocean reef look if done properly it will flow really nicely. I also would say lots of smaller fish since you can create more of a natural look with a huge variety of colors and also creating a schooling system.

I really like the look of lots of small fish. Plus in a big tank you can put together groups and harems that bring out different behaviors

I like a realistic look, too many corals of different species may be nice to look at but you don's see that under water.

I think that even though a large tank gives you the benefit of having larger fish it makes the tank look smaller.

Just my humble opinion

I have alot of corals in my 450g DT, but not what I would call 'packed'...there is a lot of swimming room for the 70+ fish

TALL STANDS!!!!!

i say this because i have a sweet 240, but it only works for those that are 4feet tall!
(im 6.5')

it doesnt matter what kind of sweet aquarium you have, it its not tall enough to enjoy, then it wont matter....
if i sit on a 5gal bucket, i love my tank.... (its partial in-wall.) its 2ft front to back, and only about 10" sticks out of the wall

You have a very vaild point I would say the taller the stand the more you can enjoy it specially if you are tall. It gives such a diffrent look as well

Voted wall to wall corals with lots of small fish also!
BTW my tank sits 43" in the wall:) Tall stands are a must have IMO.
