hi, i have an aga 120 gal, i plan on having mostly sps.............my idea is to put 2 6060 in each rear corner facing front center, im going to keep 2 maxijet 1200 facing the lower rear corners to pick up any dead areas................my plan is to tie the 6060s into my day lights so when they shut off so do the the pumps, keep the maxis running all night, i was thinking this as i read that corals like lower flow at night.............



p.s. i should add the tank is 10 months old with a 4.5" deep sand bed ( southdown-fine aragonite)

I think it would be OK, I do worry the flow might be two low at night in that scenario and aggrevate a night time pH drop. Also, remember the 6060 cannot be controlled or used on wavemakers.

yes i understand that, its the lowest flowing of the tunze if im correct so i thought a constant turbulant flow would be ok, and my ph is low all the time due to house being closed up, 8.1 day , 7.85 night.................windows open its 8.2 , everyone seems ok with this , going on 11 months now so 2 of the 6060 wouldnt be too much flow correct?

No, but you may want to start with alternating them on timers while things adjust to the higher flow rate.
