what do you think of this substrate for a deepsandbed

was thinking of using a bit for a bottom layer of a deepsandbed, what do you guys think

Looks like silicate sand which I wouldn't add.

I too think it's silicate sand. In a reef tank we use aragonite sand so that it helps buffer the water. Silicate sand causes algae problems.
