They say they don't need as much light as other hosting anemones,but i am with charlie on this one. I have two 150 mh on my 20L about 10'' above the water,and my gbtas like it.
being that a 20 long is only about 10" high I say it'll have no problem with that light especially if you feed. I've kept 2 roses and a yellow carpet in a 65 gallon with the same lighting and am keeping a very large GLTA in a 50 with the same light. you will have no problem at all.
i say it should be fine.like goalieman said...just feed it.and btw your not going to keep it in the middle or top of your tank.it will locate it self to where ever it feels happy.
Just because it works for 1 it may not work for another a wise reefer once said but hey if your confident go for it. B ut if you have some $ get some mh and the anemone will be much happier!
I don't know if this applies to nano tanks....but supposedly newer than a 6 month old tank is pushing your luck with anemones. A year is preferable....but maybe nano tanks establish faster.
