I am planning on moving my 120 which currently has a pretty nasty bubble algae infestation. Should I not bother bringing the old water with me because it will be full of algae spores? I can take my time with the move because the old tank is currently at my brothers house. I am trying to avoid this bubble algae problem again so I will probably be using all new rock as well.

I would still scrub and cook the existing live rock--even as base rock its worth keeping.
If you are starting over with recyling etc --then I would use new water
