Hi all, I have a female leopard wrasse that is apparently changing into a male, I have also been thinking lately that my 60 cube doesn't have enough swimming room for her. I am thinking of selling him just dont know what prices are.

Leopard wrasse is a broad term for a number of different species. Which leopard wrasse are you referring to in particular? (meleagris , bipartitus, choati, negrosensis, etc.)

Hmm well all I can say is that as a female it hard dark black spots against an almost ivory background, as a male hard to say at this point, it appears similar to a malanarus.

Basically its this one. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+1378+339&pcatid=339

You do sound like you know your $h!t, can you tell me if my 60g cube was too small for it in the first place, I don't feel it has as much room as it needs.

Lastly what are those clowns in your pic? They are gorgeous.

You apparently have a Meleagris, very interesting that it is changing into male all on her own. Mine changed into male when I introduced another similar sized female to my aquarium. Your 60 cube should be ok for it. As long as you have plenty of rock work for it to hunt for pods on.

Good bit of rock work but she/he does have to compete for pods with a mandarin. He does this cool thing though where he faceplants into my cc substrate then whips his tail very hard and shoots it all into the air and then grabs the various things (worms, pods whatever) as they float down and eats them. I actually dont think I can let him go now that I really consider it, just a great fish.

Agreed. And a 2 foot tank seems a little on the small side for any wrasse. I would do a wrasse in a minimum of a 3 foot tank

This is what I am most worried about, I am the type the wouldn't put a tang in anything under 6 ft. I will hate to see him leave he is just an energetic fun fish and sand stirring is amazing. However, its always bumping the glass and to me that says it needs more tank.

As far as it and the mandarin never noticed a problem, in fact the mandarin might as well be invisible I have never noticed another fish respond in any way to its presence.

Lastly, they both eat frozen food never had a problem with them feeding. I do feed a lot though and tons or rods food. In fact I have never had a problem as far as fish eating, even my Betta is a hog. My philosophy is tons of good food all the time if the tank gets dirty my skimmer isn't big enough. I can never feed to much.
