What does healthy xenia look like?

So I've still got a problem with xenia.

What would cause it to not pulse, yet not scrunch up it's polyps?

It kind of waves around, like you would imagine an anemone would. I tried waving back but that didn't help either... :)

you've probablyy got enough current that they dont need to pulse. turn off all your sources of current and you will probably see them start pulsing.

Well, all I've got is a penguin HOB filter for the tank. The water spills in and creates current. I have one powerhead blowin' over the candy cane coral (which appears fine, by the way.)

I could probably move the xenia to a position of less current, but I fear that'll be a death blow...? What do you think, should I move it?

Sometime xenia just stop pumping for no apparent reason. As long as the polyps are still extended and looking healthy, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have silver tip Xenia that will not pulse either. I started giving it high fives in the morning and the payoff has been incredible.
