What driver for a single 50w multi chip?

These are the specs
LED chips: EPISTAR EDI-EA1143 45*45mil
Download Manufacturer Data Sheet
Color Temperature/Wavelength: 20 chips 20000K + 30 chips 450-453nm Royal Blue
PAR reading(Instrument: Apogee MQ-200):
964 on 1.7A input current
1603 on 3.5A input current
DC Forward Voltage (VF): 31.5-36V DC
DC Forward Current (IF): 3500mA max
Rated Power: 126W max
Viewing Angle: 140 Degree
Item included: 50W Super Actinic Blue 45mil LED Panel x 1

I have used a driver from StatisLED in china but half have overheated and failed.

Do you want to run it at 50w or 100W+? (aka 1.7 or 3.5A)
If you only want to run the 50W or so.. I would use a meanwell LPF-60-42 (with a 100K potentiometer if you want manual dimming).. It also accepts analog or PWM dimming. That one will get you right around 45W or so..
The LPF-60-36 "should" work too and put you right at 1.67A but if the Vf does get into the 35-36V range you "could" have issues. (blinking, not working,etc..)

Or LPF-90-42 if you want to "push" it past the 50W mark (70W)
