What else will a clown host in?

frogspawn coral, toadstool coral and flower pot coral. For False Percs, they will find whatever is there to host in time but the 3 corals listed are a big possibility that they will accept.

ANYTHING:) If the clowns want to host it, it'll be their host. I've had them host frogspawns and toadstools, like stated above. But I've also had them/have them hosting in xenia, zoanthids, blastos, sinularia leathers, pumps, powerheads, overflow boxes, and I've seen them hosting just about anything else that you could think of in a tank...Crazy little animals.

So cute..veggie clip and hermit crab. Clownfishs are never boring...you'll never know what will be their next home....I love them.

Your Euphyllia species and hairy mushrooms are usually a good bet... not that it actually matters as they'll probably host something totally inappropriate, like a powerhead.

Percs and Ocellaris are notorious for hosting wierd things such as magfloats and intakes. If you really want a clown to host something, Clarkiis imo is your best bet.

I think the veggie clip is the funniest I've seen.

Going along with what 55semireef said, clarkiis were my choice as well.

I wholeheartedly agree, Grinch. When given the opportunity, the clownfish will do what IT wants, not what WE want.

I forgot, I had some host the skin of pink star polyps. During the day it looked pretty normal, but when the PSP's retracted and they were sleeping on a purple skin bed, that was always one of the funniest to me.
