Hi guys, we all want cool fish in our tanks but with coral, we are some what limited. I have a 180g sps tank that needs some fish! It currently has 5 anthias. I dont just want to dump a lot of fish in but rather choose to add 2 or 3 prize specimens. I would love to put an angel in but coral safty is first priority. The tank is 1 year 3 months old. Please help with a short list of contenders.

If you REALLY love angels, you could try an Emperor. Mine has been great. He doesn't look at my SPS and hasn't even nipped at my prized Crocea clam collection. Then again....Powder Blues are very striking fish. Because of my Emperor, the ability to ever have LPS is almost out of the question.

Well seeing how I already have most of my list here is mine, still need to get my Achilles

Pair of Blue Jaw Triggers
Mystery Wrasse
Black Ice Snowflake Clown
Snowflake Clown

All are really nice to look at with alot of personality and do well with my SPS tank.

pair of wantanabe angels, reef safe and striking appearance especially the male(but the male is hard to find for whatever reason)

I have an emperor too. Hasn't messed with my coral (mostly SPS with some LPS) or the carpet nem. One of the coolest fish I've had.

not anything that tend to grow bigger than 5 inches. My hippo tang is not about 8 inches (only had it 3 years. was 3 inches when I got it). He has been breaking my corals as he is too big.

8 inch blue tang? I had one for 5 years in a fish only and it only got to 5-6 inches...got a pic, and 8 inch one would be ridiculus

Gill 619: if you are trying to keep Archilles, IMO it should be the first one in your tank (assuming your tank is ready)

@Buckeyetodd here is the pic. He is not 8 inches yet, but longer than 7 inches. The yellow part in the tail is 2 inches. He is swimming next to a 6 inch Sailfin and 4 inches yellow tang. This one is a smaller of the two hippo we got as a pair. The other guy went into a 240 gal and he is well 8 inches.
