What fish to Add?

I'd wouldn't get the flame prawn goby. Haven't owned one, but have seen one. They are tiny. It is a shrimp goby, so they don't burrow themselves, but will pair up with a shrimp that does. Awesome fish, just would be given more justice in a nano IMO.

John, one problem with my situation with LFS's in my area is that they only seem to carry either very common fish (clowns, tangs etc....) or fish that are not reef compatible (triggers, eels, filefish). So I have three options when it comes to purchasing fish. Either wait for months/years for the LFS to get the fish I want, Order online sight unseen, or I make several trips to the Atlanta Area each year and I have several shops that I stop at every time I'm in town. I could pick up a fish from them and transport it 3-4hrs to my tank.

The Atlanta stores all have a wide selection of wrasses and other 'reef friendly' fish. So that is probably where I will get the new fish. Whatever It may be.

My requirements:

-Fish MUST Be very friendly toward other tankmates.
-Fish must be unique in looks and/or character (as obvious by my other choices of fish)
-Fish must be either colorful or uniquely colored (bright like a tang or unique like the mandarin)
-I have a 40gal refugium teaming with pods (ami & cope) and polychreate worms
-Tank is very healthy and well established
-I am in no hurry so if the species is hard to come by I can wait
-I would like for the fish to be small <4" full grown
-I have looked at some wrasses but I am not really happy about all the pastel colors. But if there is one that I have missed.....

Over the last few weeks I have looked at several species. One of my fav's so far is the Firefish but I am not sold on it yet.
I am open to all ideas and suggestions. Thanks to all for your help.

How about a Royal Gramma ?

-Mine is no bother with other tankmates, barring a little posturing (which is kinda fun) when someone strays close to his hole.
-Great colours.
-About right size-wise.

Wow, a Royal Gramma looks almost exactly like the Royal Dottyback that I am about to evict. That is incredible. When you say hole, do they burrow under the sand or were you talking about a rock?
