What have you done with your tank lately?

Pics or it didn't happen.

Pic from this evening sporting the new lights. Still have a bit of pest algae (the caulerpa doesn't bother me, though) but no more aiptasia. :D I also need to order more GFO.

My favorite coral (which survived a bout of 'mystery necrosis')

Oh! I am buying Andystl's 120 system so a new thread will be in the works. Pizza and beer on me for whoever helps me move and set-up the sucker. I am an utter PVC newbie. It'll be a month or so because I am moving from IL to MO. :wavehand:

I can help with the setting it up and PVC work, but I have a really bad knee, so carrying tanks is out for my foreseeable future:(

I'll keep you posted, the bf can help with the lifting but is an aquarium newbie. And thank you for the offer. :)

We can bring 2 or 3 reefers over that are good with plumbing tanks when you're ready.

I've been looking all over from Soulard, Carondelet, the Hill, South City, Tower Grove (for starters). I work downtown StL and dance class is on Cherokee, so I'm trying to stay fairly central/south and rent for a few years. Just sold my house in IL so I am in no hurry to buy again. So I highly doubt the sump will be in the basement, unfortunately. Andy's setup is amazing but I am afraid I can't reproduce it as is.

I'm getting ready to go old old school

I think the reflectors are Luma bright. I've had them so long now that I forget really what they are :debi:

I'm setting this up for 400 watt Radiums on the pfo ballast. And 2 VHOs

I'm not sure if I want to go with the suspending canopy look or standard canopy yet.

Those are the same reflectors I have - they are either lumenarc or lumenbright - I can't remember which. I like them.

I see you have your ballasts apart. If they aren't working properly or you want spares, I have two 400w galaxy eballasts and a dual 400w PFO just like the one in your picture. I'll get rid of them super cheap - I'm trying to clean up all the spare junk I have lying around.
