I just noticed today posting a ignored request for identification thread............:)...........that these palys had changed color considerably, especially the skirts in the 6 months ive had them. I aslo started out with 4, now there are 12.

I have them midway in a high flow tank under 10k 250 watt XM lighting, no actinics.

Check it out. I kind of like them better with the lighter colored skirts.

You can call it bleached, or you can say they morphed under different lighting. They are healthy and reproducing regardless.

Personally, I like them better with the light skirts.

Regardless, any one know what they are called??

quote- it will be hard to get an ID when they arent holding there color

look at the first pic.

Besides the light skirts, they really arent bleached. And have been this color for months, so as far as not holding their color, that simply isnt true.
The bright lights changed their color no doubt.

These are unedited pics, and the second with the light skirts is under straight 10k lighting no actinics.

I think they are sweet looking as they are.

If anyone wants to try to ID them looking at the first pic it would be much appreciated. :)

thx

Well.....the first pic looks like a Rainbow morph that is still coloring up. Your second pic looks like my AoG when put under 10k. So yeah, Id say those arnt holding their color.

Put those guys under 14k or 20k and they will look very different.

While they look cool, I dont think they look as good as they could be.

And you do know there is an Id page at the bottom of the fourm ;)

I guess your defintion of "holding " color is only relevant to blue lights.

My definition of holding color is what they have been for months and will continue to be in my system.

They were originally called "rainbow" palys when i frist got them.

I was just curios if the zoa people here think they were as well, as im not up on the zoa/paly names

Thanks

Whats "AOG"?? maybe i can take that name and go find some other pics and see what i think?
