What if?

Lets just say you're running a very very popular lfs and you receive an email from a great customer stating that two of your associates or clerks as they call them at your lfs are giving bad information to customers. What would you do or say? One of the "clerks" told a customer to kill all his snails and the other told a couple they could keep any kind of coral under fluorescent light bulbs.

Then those clerks will see it, not my loss or problem they provide the wrong information to customers. Apparently also said owner of the lfs did not care since I was just given the run around of how it was done back in the caveman days instead of saying thank you I will pass this input along to the clerks so we can try and fix this.

Just messing with you. If I owned a store I'd make sure all employee were trained with the basics. If there were a assitant manager or manager Id make sure all employees turned to them for the harder questions. Also Id tell them if they didn't know the answer say, "I'm not sure but I will get the answer for you". No use of making something up and loosing credibility. Funny, generally stores that do that loose customers to other stores in the area .

Yeah we'll the owner never did anything just gave me the run around and I'm sure the assistant manager would do the same also. Yeah I would tell them that too, if you're not sure ask. Why give out information if you really don't know? I'm just posting that on here for all to know. I'm sure you guys already know which lfs I'm talking about since there's only one in Santa Rosa. My business will go from now on to Jofish in Petaluma.
