What in the world is this!!!!????

My tank has been up and running for approx 5 months. I am getting small feather dusters and what I believe to be sponges. I have seen several flat worms and other signs of life all over my LR. None of which have suprised me...until I saw this very weird "thing" hanging down from a piece of "base" rock. This piece of rock acts as a support for a large chunk of LR. It appears like red hair that is hanging down from the rock and extends out across the sand for an inch and half. These hair like tenticles must be sticky because they are slowly dragging pieces of sand up towards the rock where it came from. Creating a small pill of sand. The hair like tenticles are slowly moving about the sand like they are searching for "food." Here is a couple of pics but it was hard to get my camera to focus on something so small and close to the back wall of the tank.

I know the photos are not great, but does anyone have any idea from my description?????

My guess would be a spaghetti worm.

Not a very clear picture to put my judgement on but if I have to guess I'd go with spagetti worms too. They are harmless detritus eaters.

Would be nice to keep pictures within the boundaries of normal monitors aka 1280x1024 or smaller please.
