I was sitting in the living room a few min ago and I heard a crazy freaking splash come from my tank. went over there and my rabbit fish whom I have had for like a year now was sinking to the bottom absolutely 100% dead. he was perfectly healthy today ate fine. no new additions for a few months now and I QT.

side note this happened right as I turned a light on in the living room. this wasn't a slow death I would of noticed I messed with my tank all day. it appears he may have been stung by something.

I had a foxface die in a similar way once. While I was watching the tank, the ff started thrashing around followed by the "funky chicken dance" then a minute or two later it was stone dead.

All other fish were not affected and the ff seemed fine beforehand.

I once shined my torch into my tank one morning before work, my fox face charged straight at my face at a million miles an hour, and smashed his face straight into the glass, naturally He scared the crap outta me, I guess I scared him, I thought he was a goner for sure with how hard he hit it, but he was fine, no damage at all, lesson learned for me, maybe yours did a similar thing?
