What is a good food for Dunkins?

Duncans seem to have a small mouth, I didn't know if they were able to eat brine shrimp or if they had to have something smaller.

These are my first ones, when I got them they all closed up and I didn't know what they looked like, now they are open and look hungry.

they will readily eat brine - they are close cousins to the sun corals - and will eat anything the sun corals will.
I noticed for mine (I have a colony of green and a frag of the purple) - they don't process meaty foods as fast as sun coral - they will close up for a bit after you feed them and won't open. I think they process food much slower than sun corals.

Nice coloration on yours - they should color up really nicely.

Your duncans are a really cool color.
If they're anything like my Duncans, they will always look hungry! I feed mine the same thing I feed my black sun corals which is mostly mysis and brine. Sometimes they get fish eggs. After I get finished with these last packets of frozen fish foods, I think I'm just going to grind up some seafood and feed that to them. They get fed more often than what is needed, ( I feed every other day), because they get my sun corals' leftovers. They're doing well. I got them as a frag with two heads and now it has four smaller heads growing. Of all my corals, these are one of my favorites!

They will take in just about anything.

Mysis, brine, nls, and I just started using Fauna Marin LPS Grow this week.

Don't have a problem growing them, I have about 4 major colonies.

Always fragging them. Here is a smaller frag I just sold.

Thanks guys!,I tried the brine shrimp today, looked like they ate them,as they closed, then puffed up.
They are a cool color, they almost look green with a purple hue to them. I want more of them.

I can second that. Mine even eat flake food when they catch it

Duncan is the favorite of all the coral in my tank but mine has a fairly big mouth!

Sometimes I'll feed him directly with tongs a piece of mysis or something but usually he just gets his food from what's floating around in the water. If I really want to feed him directly I'll just take a bit of cyclopeeze and rodi water, mix it up, pull it into a syringe, the squirt it over him and he grabs what he wants before the cleaner shrimp of clowns get to it.

(btw: the only fix I did with this pic is cropped and sharpened, that's his natural color)
