Since I saw the thread "what is a tyree coral" and I thought it was hilarious, I thought I make part II out of it.

I really like the alien eye pink chalice....I looked online everywhere, cant find that exact color that he has on his website. If anyone can find me a frag I am willing to pay.

WHat is so special about Tyree Limited Edition corals? haha..

They are particularly interesting and unique corals that he propagates and sells. For the past 2 years he's sold only aquacultured corals. Some hobbyists prefer aquacultured over wild collected corals... particularly if the corals are extra cool in some way.

Here's some info on Steve Tyree. He's gving a lecture to our club on the 14th :)

I'm not sure if you are talking about the tyree alien eye, or the tyree watermelon chalice. I have the tyree alien eye, and it does have a bit of a pink/blue base to it, the watermelon is hot pink in the center. Clint at diamondsinthereef.com is a good source for these corals.

I don't know, but he makes for an interesting and entertaining house guest. He's very enthusiatic about corals to say the least.

BTW, trying to provoke an argument/fight on the internet is dumb. Doing the same on the streets is a crime. :D

After reading the first post, one word came to mind:

Troll.

Not that he is a troll, but the post sure came off like trolling ;)
