what is best auto top off unit

My system needs about two gallons of water a day, I need an auto top off unit for when I go out of town, otherwise I do do it manually everyday when home.

Seriously, I'm using a 75.00 unit from autotopoff.com: a bit of wire spaghetti, but a good snailproof float, off-on LEDS, and dead simple to set up and use. The only thing you need is a ro/di reservoir, a maxijet delivery pump [tolerant of being turned on and off] and a siphon break or check valve in your output hose.

I've made mistakes with it [forgetting to turn it off when I remove water from the tank [doh!]; forgetting to plug it in again when I'm finished messing with the tank.] But if its float is in place and clamped onto the sump, it's not going to flood---can't.

the jbj unit is being used by a lot of people

also anyone that you get if float switch model made sure that you clean the floats every few months

i had one stick on and the 2 nd one is a safety and stoped the water from empting my 5 gallon into the tank

one of the best is the tunze unit uses a mtion sensor and a metering pump

the best is a dosing pump that just doses a certain amount everyday like a liter meter
