What is the easiest set up for a mantis shrimp ?

What i have to use a six gallon eclipse system !

I was thinking a 2-3 inch sand bed 10 pounds live rock and 2 power heads and the fillter provided by the eclipse aquarium.
I was also thinking of just using the light that was provided by the aquarium as well.

Does that sound decent.

What mantis shrimp are good for people getting into mantis shrimp?

if you could get a N.wenn ( i think thats what it is called) they are a smaller mantis.

you shouldn't need that much flow in the tank. and they don't need special lighting. but other than that set up looks fine.

two powerheads in a 6 I think is excessive... You'l probably blow him around so much, hell never want to leave the burrow... I just use a small 100 gph filter with tons of live rock

I have 3 mants in 6 Eclipse tanks (and 1 in a hex 5, and one in a small 1.5 hex temporary tank as well...).

An eclipse 6 is fine for smaller mantis (I have g.Chiraga, G.viridis and G. platysoma in them). The lights leave a bit to be desired, as you can't really have any corals except for mushrooms and similar.
