Mine makes all kind of weird shapes. As long as he is eating I wouldn't worry.

No its not splitting, like the other guy said could be a worm growing out of the base. Just flip it over and check it out.

i flipped him over no worms or anything or snails that bump just seems like it is getting big and its always had it its just tripled in size in the last month but hes been eating fine and everything not to worried just curious
