What is going with these zoos?

These are in an SPS tank which I keep the parameters rock solid except for temp which bounces between 80 and 84.

These just started to look like this. Some of them felt the sting of a torch that was putting out sweepers at night. The torch has since been moved, but most of this colony is on the other side of this rock which were never able to come in contat with it.

Check you Alk, pH... also check for predators ( nudi's, spiders, etc... )

just another thought to look for is VERMITID SNAILS, their sweepers or web can make zoa's look like that. just snip them off the rock if you find any.
