What is it?

I have this white hair like stuff flowting in my water.
its very thin, so thin in fact that i can not filter it out of the tank even with a coffie filter.This white stuff seems to acumulate in the back corner of my cube near the bottom on the live rock.It's only in the one spot but the stuff floats everywhere.
I set up this 2 gallon cube 4 weeks ago.
used live sand to seed the tank 2 inches thick.
2.5 lb live rock
Specific gravity 1.026@79f
Amonia 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
1 gallon water change every week.
1 use carbon 2 days a week.

I have a very light bio load
1 Fire shimp-1/2 inch
1 6 line wrasse-1/2 inch
6 astrea snails
some green and brown star polyps
some zoo's
some qualerpa

any one have any idea as to what it might be?

if you need any other info let me know so far i cant seem to figure out why i have this stuff.
