This a very interesting crab always on the go . It has been messing with the feather duster quite a bit lately but dosen't seem to have done any damage yet . Will it eat the duster and when I get some coral will this monster be a problem ? He is neat so I hate to evict him but I'm not after a crab tank . There was also a pointed crab that I recieved that molted as soon as he arrived and promptly cut some green stuff and stuck to his back so a picture of him that showes much of him has been hard to come up with . he dosen't seem to bother as much stuff as the bigger crab with the spongy looking back . Any help ? Thanks

you answered your own question!

just feed him some raw shrimp twice a week, and you will have a happy decorator crab!

Sounds like he could be a problem with corals ? Do you have any Idea what the pointed crab you sent was and will he be a problem with corals ?

You never know what they will camo themselves with, sometimes the coolness factor outweighs all....

My decorator crab pretty much decorated himself with everything. Unfortunately all my caulpera went bye bye. But he did get one polyp of a green zoa on his head like a tophat it was cool.

I managed to get 2 decorator crabs in my shipment. One likes to decorate himself in the plant life that came with the rocks and the other likes to decorate himself with pieces of the sponges I got. I think I enjoy these guys the most.
