What is my Condy doing? Is he ok?

Got this condy yesterday. He attached to a rock right away last night. Just a few hours ago I found him 1/2 way across the tank, and he's sitting here like this in the sand.
Is his color ok? Is this ok behavior? All of his tentacles seems to be aiming up. I turned my lights up for him since I've been reading that they like a lot of light. I've also noticed he's about 1/2 inverted and not nearly as large as he was when he was on the rock.

The anemone is very bleached, condys should be a tan color. The moveing around means he hasnt found a spot it likes yet.

No no no haha different tank. He is getting ready for that large main tank though.
I think I was just prematurely freaking out, he's attached to a rock now. I boosted lighting, I've got to help get him healthy. I was mostly curious if he was bleached or not, its my first condy.

Ohhhh ok lol, if he is attached thats good, just give him good water parameters, lighting and you could even feed him mysis shrimp to help regain his color.

Condys and crispia's are one anemone i always see bleached in lfs's and such, not sure if thats how they come in or what but no anemone should ever be white. But most can be brought back to good health with good care. Just some info for when you buy another anemone.

Good luck

Yeah I've had him for 24 hours now. He was a good price and I've been wanting one for awhile now so I figured it was low risk. I'll do what I can with him.

Just looked at the other thread "8 months with my BTA" and saw how bleached his was when he first got it. Now I'm not happy haha. I didnt realize how bleached mine was. Oh well, I still really like it. Hopefully I can be another "8 months with my condy" thread here soon.

When i had a condy, he started bleached out like that. Will tan up over time. They do seem to move around a lot. Every week or two moved to new place. Went on for 6 months before i rehomed so i could start doing corals.
