What is on my new hammers?!

I got a couple of heads of hammers Thursday. They were almost completely closed Thursday and a little more open on Friday. They were the same on Saturday, but were stringing out some 'stuff.'

Today they are completely closed--looks like the live heads disappeared, and there is a bunch of 'gunk' on the top (but not stringy).

I got frogs the same day (from a different place) and they look great--longer each day.

i feed freeze dried cyclopeeze, frozen mysis, 1/2 silverside 2xweek, ora glow, and i just started formula one flakes yesterday.

any ideas what happened? they were closed up when i got them, but they were at least marginally alive!!! or, at least, not gelatin...

i got it by mail, it arrived on the same day as something else i ordered from somewhere else.

the frogs seem fine...pulled the skeletons, siphoned out around it, and did another 10% change. will do another 10% tomorrow morning.
