what is that?

there are thes small brown dots on the glass of my tank. i dont know what they are and i have to scrub very hard to get them off. they appear only near algae patches and they seem to multiply. also there are tinsy white bugs crawling around near them. they are to small to get apicture of. i was wondering if there is a way to get rid the dots and the bugs with a fish or maybe there is an additive to add to get rid of the brown dots.

sounds like green/brown form of coralline algae...if you have a glass tank use a razor blade. as for the little white bugs, probably pods...a good thing.

i have an acrylic tank is there anything that eats it?
