What is the best??

i was just woundering what is the best seaweed for tangs etc..
i feed mine ocean nutrients green seaweed with garlic extract..

I bought some roasted seaweed sheets from an asian food store. You can buy off ebay cheaply also. As long as seaweed is the only ingredient it will work fine. My tangs love it. What part of alabama are you from? Im near gadsden....

ok great im in muscle shoals near florence i herd nori was good i just bought a yellow tang 3in he hasnt touch any of the seaweed i bought its ocean nutrients green seaweed with garlic extract

My tangs used to relish that Ocean Nutrition green seaweed. Never did try the red or the brown though. If you have any extra money lying around, you might want to give one of those a try.

Been using the sheets of Nori from the Asian market for years.

Works just fine and is way cheapier than the stuff you get for the aquarium trade.

Oh and the Asian market Nori is the same stuff. SHHHH!

I had good luck with all green seaweeds but am having a hard time of getting my fish to eat the red Ocean Nutrition. They will only eat it if I tear it into small pieces like flake food..... :mixed:
