it doesn't need strong light. think his name starts with a B. he might be californian.

Would this be a clownfish hosting anemone (there are at least 2 named after people) or non hosting? Is it cold water or tropical? Pacific or Atlantic?

By "doesn't need strong light", do you mean it doesn't need any light, or can survive on less than the brightest reef lighting?
 
I think you may mean Phymanthus buitendijki AKA Borneman Anemone. Eric Borneman did not discover this anemone. He was just one of the better know reefer who first keep this anemone.
