What is the popular way to plumb the overflow now?

I was trying to see if there was a post somewhere on this but I have only found the Hofer Gurgler. Any suggestions or stick with the ol Durso standpipe?

I'm a fan of the durso. The stockman will work if room is an issue, but prefer the durso.

Yea the durso was what I used in the past and it worked out fine for me then but I am wondering if there is some new thing out that is better. I never really had much of a problem out of the Durso and it was even better when I started using a filter sock to stop the bubbles.

a properly sized Durso is hard to beat for quietness and dependability. any problems with one and it starts making gurgling sound long before you get a wet floor.
