what is the "synchronize" for?

I had 2 Tunze 6055, and I programed them already, and they are working fine.
I just wonder that "synchronize" is for.
the manual said that "synchronize initial off time with last profile",
what does that mean?

Thanks.

Synchronizing Multiple Pumps

For more coordinated timing, use the profile “synchronize enabled” option with multiple profiles. For example, if you were to define three profile statements (assuming you have 3 Tunze pumps), the synchronize option automatically starts profile #2 at the same time profile #1 starts, #3 starts when #2 starts, etc. Technically, it synchronizes the ‘initial off time’ of the pumps. It uses the next lowest profile number (regardless of what you named it) to synchronize to. In these cases you would simply use the “SET” statement and would not use the “If Time” statement.

I still didn't get it. I had only 2 Tunze 6055 pumps,
I setup the profile like that, all of them are "Synchronize" disabled.

DayTime1
Initial off time: 0
On time: 3
Off time: 3
Mini: 35
Maxi: 90

DayTime2
Initial off time: 3
On time: 3
Off time: 0
Mini: 35
Maxi: 90

NitTime1
Initial off time: 0
On time: 3
Off time: 3
Mini: 35
Maxi: 70

NitTime2
Initial off time: 3
On time: 3
Off time: 0
Mini: 35
Maxi: 70

FeedTim1
Initial off time: 0
On time: 5
Off time: 10
Mini: 0
Maxi: 40

FeedTim2
Initial off time: 5
On time: 5
Off time: 5
Mini: 0
Maxi: 40

and then the Tunze 6055 like that:

Stream_1:

Set DayTime1
If Time 23:30 to 12:30 Then NitTime1
If FeedA 000 Then FeedTim1
If FeedB 000 Then FeedTim1
If Outlet Maintain = ON Then OFF

Stream_2:

Set DayTime2
If Time 23:30 to 12:30 Then NitTime2
If FeedA 000 Then FeedTim2
If FeedB 000 Then FeedTim2
If Outlet Maintain = ON Then OFF

And now I setup DayTime2, NitTime2, FeedTim2 to "Synchronize" enable,
what is the different between before and after?

what I want is that:

when Stream_1 runs at 35%, Stream_2 runs at 90% at daytime,
when Stream_1 runs at 90%, Stream_2 runs at 35% at daytime;

when Stream_1 runs at 35%, Stream_2 runs at 70% at nighttime,
when Stream_1 runs at 70%, Stream_2 runs at 35% at nighttime;

when Stream_1 stops, Stream_2 runs at 40% at Feedtime,
when Stream_2 stops, Stream_1 runs at 40% at Feedtime,
and then both pumps stop for 5 seconds at Feedtime.

The synchronize allows all pumps that are 'synced' to operate as one.
They will turn on together, turn off together.
Its mostly used to make waves.

There is anti-sync that tells the pumps to never operate together, to create more random flow.
