dkle, I have that exact same type of algea (and interestingly enough I live fairly close to you too). I wouldn't consider it a slow grower though, and I have found it pratically impossible to get rid of. I can pull and trim and scrape, but it will be back worse than ever within a month. As far as a foxface, I tried one and it never touched the stuff. It loved my green macro algea though. In another thread someone said that a tuxedo urchin might eat it. The cowery might be a good idea although I have heard of coweries eating coral. Turbo2oh, did you have any sps in your tank, and if so did the cowery touch them? If anyone finds a solution to this I would like to hear about it.
