Hello all this is the first time I have posted on here so please bear with me ... Okay I have just acquired an anemone and i am not sure what it is .... I was wondering care and where it should be placed in the tank and if I have to hand feed it anything and if so what to feed it I will attach a pic.... Also I have two maroon clowns that are not a mated pair I was wondering if there would be another anemone I should consider thank u

Natural host of maroons is a bubble tip. Guessing you intended to add a pic of the nem you have?

i kinda figured that it was a type of long tip but what is the other stuff i need to know about it will the maroons go to it, do i have to feed it, will it put itself in the best place for itself, will i have to move it to a high flow area or will i have to feed it and what do i feed it. I understand all these questions should have been asked before i acquired it but i got it from a friend who is downsizing. any advise would be great

Read the Anemone FAQ. It is a M. doreensis or Long Tentacle Anemone. It need sand bed, fairly bright light and not too high flow. It is not too difficult to keep and should do well in a reasonable stable reeftank.
Most people tend to overfeed anemone. Feed them eraser size pieces of food once or twice a week.
It is not a natural host of Maroon clowns.

Thank u all for ur help is there any suggestions u have for what type of bubble tip I should get or are all bta the reef safe

Heteractis species and Macrodactyla (your LTA) Generally can get along with Entacmaea sp. (BTA's)
