What is this coral that sold?

I believe that is the new Hawkin's Echinata that is being produced by ORA. I also was hopeful of grabbing that one, but someone indeed was sitting "with their finger on the trigger":D

The new ORA coral that was offered in the Divers Den Aquacultured Coral section is called Hawkin's Blue Echinata. This deepwater coral looks more like Acropora turaki than Echinata to me, as it has very few radial corallites with thin delicate vivid blue and green branches.

We should be posting two more pieces later on today, and the price is $79.99.

ok begin rant...

as soon as dd was updated i placed the call as i usually do. (for this coral) the representative was kind, but kept making mistakes verifying the item number. it took around 5 minutes to finally receive my order. she finally received my item number, and was able to verify the item, all this time i was worried that someonelse would place the order before me.
well, turned out she couldn't finalize the order because someone ended up checking out and getting the item.....
all she could say was sorry..........argh!!!!

it was such a sweet piece too....

We apologize, as our Diver’s Den items are available on a first come, first serve basis. Once an order for a Diver’s Den specimen is finalized, the item is automatically removed from our online listing. If you wish, you are certainly welcome to place your order online in the future to expedite the finalization process.

That is too cool! Gonna be at the DD facility for a club tour next week Sat - gonna have to keep my eye open for that one. ;)
 
I picked one of the two that they posted today. You have to be quick and also have your credit card out and ready to go. Be careful because you will get addicted to Divers Den like me. I schedule my daily stuff around the update and end up buying corals that I shouldn't just because if I think about it to long someone else will grab it.
 
I have trouble getting this Hawkin's Blue.. you guys buy it too fast. Everytime I gotten an e-mail and that's the minute I receive that e-mail and open the link. it is already sold out.. about 6-7 times to date!.. I have seen the picture just once.

Can you tell me when it will be available as a regular item on the LiveAquaria, not diver's den?
