Hi

I was wondering if anyone can identify this creature. It was on some corals when i set up my quarantine tank and over the last year there seems to be more of them as i upped feeding in the quarantine tank on the corals.

Is it bad? Good?

Its definitely not a turbo snail although kind of similar and from what i have observed they don't seem to be harming any corals but they are starting to multiply what was 1 is now 5-6 and i can see smaller ones also.

please see attached files

thanks all

yep.. safe/harmless and beneficial algae eater..
Quite often people have/notice them and never see them again as they tend to come out at night..

Yep! Perfectly harmless, I have 3-4 I've noticed in my tank. We keep referring to them as the "œNaked Men" since they don't have big shells like the other snails.
