Hello I have a couple pics I am looking to identify. I have a feeling this is dino, but maybe cyano? Pictures are taken with lights on and off, no flash. the color is more rust with the lights on. I syphoned this stuff out after a three day dark period. This is what has grown back after about 5 days since I siphoned it out. I also have increased the flow as of yesterday. This stuff so far has been only found on the sand bed. No new additions. As far as I know my parameters are fine. I have always had a little hair algae on the rocks. But mostly that has been contained the past few months. The tank is almost a year old.. This new algae showed up maybe two weeks ago. I use ro di water, brs system. filters changed out about 3 months ago. 0- tds.
