What is this LTA worth?

shoot, if they took 200, and he sold the 3 btas and the haddoni...

i can't get get rid of all of them, but i'm trying to figure out which ones to ditch. To many clowns for only 1 anemone.

Been hoping for more pictures, but based on the single picture provided, something does not look right to me.

fwiw: based on that picture, new arrival, etc., I might set down $100, but not a chance I would go more without pictures of the column, seeing it eat, attached, etc.

I've seen the column and it is bright red to bright orange with verracue ? around the bottom of the disk. The disk itself is tan to brown. I've fed it a piece of krill so i know it will eat.

I don't have a problem with the price anymore, as we have figured that part out i think, but i just have to make room for it and i don't know what to get rid of. So i'll post pics when the deed is done.

BTW, what do you think doesn't look right about it? I'd love to know so i can check it out before bringing it home.

The disk itself is tan to brown.
That is what I would expect, but is not represented in the picture ;>)

I would also expect it to have moved out of that corner.

I would check the column/foot for pits/erosion, although I normally don't find them eating when they have issues there. Make sure it is actually eating, as opposed to just grabbing food holding it for 5 mins and letting it drift/fall away.

Good luck.

They should have taken the $200 bucks. Cost is relative, but $300 for an LTA, even a very pretty one, is too much.

Who here in San Diego has it?

Salt Water Imports

I agree its to much, thats why i didn't offer 300.00. They went for the bragging rights and wanted to post in public for ALL to see. Couldn't just sell the damn thing to me for what its worth.

That's the going price for a red LTA these days. Atlantis has one 10" for $300 as well. IMO, a red LTA resembles a RBTA w/o the bubble tips. I'd prefer the RBTA for 1/3 the price. They can keep it.

Like traveller said.. we need more pics to purchase. I would rather see a side shot instead which is a more realistic color.
