Ya it has no spines on it just some barnacles and other stuff that covers live rock. Here is a link to some better pictures it looks like it has teeth.
Correct, it's a Chama species. They're usually more spherical than the Spondylus species. I guess it's actually a Jewel Box Oyster rather than clam, though, since the lower valve grows on something.
