What is this on dendros?

Have anyone seen this yellow string-like on the dendro skeleton? Wasn't there yesterday. I have another dendro frag, but that one doesn't have it.

Man, those look unhappy. You know they REQUIRE feeding, as they are non photosynthetic. right?

Are they still extending their polyps to eat, or have they been totally withdrawn? The pics do look like sponges, but I can't imagine sponges growing over night. If the unknown growths correspond with the Dendros withdrawing, I'd suspect that they're having a negative effect and I'd probably remove them. If there's no correlation between the growth and Dendro polyp extension, or if you don't think the growths are causing any negative effect, I'd leave them for now, and observe.
