What is this on my brain coral??

Hey guys,

What is this red star thing on my brain coral, is it Aiptasia?? I never seen one before in real life.

I cant find it anywhere else in my tank but only on the brain.

reef tank on the brain! i have the same thing most of the time! lol

do the polyps have filters? look kind of like feathers? if so, i believe they would be a good thing. at least that is what i have read and been told. hard to tell from the pics.

filter feeders are good, until they start being an eye sore. then just scrub them back. i have a bunch of several kinds. nothing to worry about.

looks like a small group of clove polyps. Doesn't look like aiptasia

Definitely not aiptasia. I'm going with blue clove polyps.
