What is this on my toadstool

Is this like an infection or a scab b/c I hve never seen this before

mine had the same thing a few weeks ago. whatever it was, it healed itself.

do you have any other corals close enough to sting it?

well what happen was it was shedding and when mine sheds it turns a green color right before so everything on the coral turned its regular yellowish brown clor except that area which was still green so i rubbed it a bit (thinking it was having trouble realsing that part of its skin) and he closed up for a few days but this was all 2 months ago im hoping it will heal like yours it was my first coral

oh yeah, never wanna do that. corals can get majorly ticked off if they're handled much at all. i moved my toadstool yesterday and now i'm sure it'll pout for a week. LOL

if this spot on yours hasn't spread at all, i'd just leave it alone and let it do its thing.
