What is this?

Notice the black oval I have drawn towards the center of the picture. This "thing" has been here for a while...I first noticed it about 2-3 weeks ago and have been watching it. It doesn't seem to be changing. You can see that it's clear.


I know I've got a little bit of cyano, and if it gets bad I will put some of the medicine stuff (forget the name) in, but I will give it a chance to die out first.

Interesting. I did find it odd that it is hard. It looks like it would be soft like a jellyfish, but wasn't at all.
