what is this

hello my friend bought this and for some reason it is yet to open so i was wondering if anyone could tell me what exactly it is and what he could do to revive it.......

tank is a 150 tall and he has 2 250w metal halide and 2 rio 2500 pumps and here is a pic of both if you look in the pic you can see it on the bottom of the tank in the middle

Medium light medium flow. How long has it been in there??

+1 on the toadstool. First one I had took several days before it opened up.

It has been in the tank for about three weeks and still has yet to open should he nice it up in the tank
