What is this

Hi Folks,

Any idea what these tube-like structures are, that are growing on the side of my clam shell? Should I be concerned or remove them? (I think I attached a pic)

They look like neomeris annulata but the lighting is off so it's hard to tell.

+1, the lighting might make them look black/brown. Are they greenish in color?

the lighting is correct. They are dark brown to black.

I have the same thing in my tank as well.

Sponges. If they start to grow over the mantle, you can pull them off, but other than that they're perfectly harmless.
