What is this?

Never had one of these starfish not sure what is coming out of his mouth? I'm not sure if that is his stomach and if he is just feeding! Any answers would be great!

I would assume that, the thing coming out of the star fish could be his mouth or that it could be eating

+1. It's called eviceration and what Bruce described is exactly what happens. Pretty cool to watch. Looks like that's what yours is doing.
