Is this a good anemone to have or do i need to kill it off?

Looks like mojanos to me. I would get it out of there. Best way is to scrape it off with a butter nife or other sharp object. Take a little of the rock with it or they will come back.

I'd recommend using something like Joe's Juice, Chem Marin Stop Aptasia or Red Sea Aiptasia X.
It may take a couple applications but it will kill it, eventually.......
If you try to scrape it off, make sure you take the rock out of your tank. Often times little bits of scraping float away and regenerate.

You can also try peppermint shrimp and sometimes a copper banded butterfly. Unfortunately these are hit and miss remedies with mojanos.

Good luck!

If it is Florida rock, I'll go with baby club foot anemones. Not fast growers, pretty cool when they are big, but will eat fish.

I just looked up the tulip anemone's and that is what I have been trying to rid my tank of for a while. The different aptasia treatments haven't seem to work on them. I finaly took the rocks out and scraped them off. They are pretty but they are fast growing and have spread across the tank. By the way, everytime I tried to kill it with Joe's juice or Tropic Marin product it just reproduced and spread.

I've found that tulips are fairly easy to 'scrap' off the rock. when they hunker down, they're still pretty chunky and you can get it all off without to much effort by working the foot off. unlike aiptasia that turn to goo when you mess with them.
