What is this?

Saw this thing growing on one of my rocks. Kinda reminds me of the ghosts from Pac-man. Not sure if its Inky, Blinky or Clyde!!

Without more detail hard to say. Possibly a sponge or mushroom aslong as it stays in one spot Id let it grow and see what happens.

Its a Patagonian Buttfish Larva, be very very careful around that thing.

:lol: ...or maybe some sort of soft coral frag. Was there recently a larger coral sitting neaby?

yes, the buttfish is straight up creepy!

+1 on the creepy "gonad eating" buttfish. I still get a good laugh everytime I say that in my head.
