Perhaps you guys are right but the LTA I recieved is about the color of green antifreeze with yellow lines around the mouth and yellow dots around the column. I guess I would definitly describe it as ultra......and no it's not dyed.

Got a pic of the lta? Antifreeze green? Sure it's not a faded green? Some nems get a neon glow to them when they start to fade.... I'm not saying yours is. Just a possibility... pics would be nice...

I've always liked the nice bright green LTAs better than any other color even though they aren't usually as expensive as some of the others. I really like the ones with green tentacles and white tips. I still would say the "ultra" term is a gimmick to inflate the price though.

I agree it's probably a gimmick to market but it surprised me how colorful it i is. I'm working on a pic, it's hard to get a good one with the lighting. All I have is ipad and iPhone for photos and the lighting kills the pic.

Try turning the blues way down or off if you're able to. Makes the pics look much more realistic if you don't have a gel filter.

Almost all LTAS on wholesale lists that have a spec of color other than brown are considered "ultra"
