what is up with marco rocks?

my emails have been "ignored" since last thursday morning - i know, not all that long, but he's also not returned 2 phone messages since then. i've tried calling twice daily.

i just got a ups shipping notification out of the blue. he must be alive. :) marc, if you're reading this, thank you.

I had a rough time getting ahold of him too...but when he finally got around to my cherry picks I was pleased...he sent me 9 or 10 photos of rocks that would fit what I asked for. I picked several...He got them out fast....they were well packaged .....and HUGE.....the pictures didn't do them justice! Those marco rocks are great because they are so light weight and porous. Lots of neat little nooks & crannies ...my fish love them...it added tons of places for them to stake out their own territory.

It took me two weeks from the time I ordered till it arrived, but it was well worth the wait. Marco Rocks are great looking rocks.

Hey everyone,
Sorry for the troubles, I've have had had some computer issues lately.Had some down time and was loosing some to new spam filters too. All should be ok now! I usually try to respond to email at least once a day.
Also will catch upon phone calls once back from MACNA

Thanks for the support
Marc

I was just going to post he was at MACNA. I have been waiting a w bit for some cherry picked pieces and it was worth the wait.

Thanks marc,
Eric

My first email to Marc was August 22. The problems were well before macna, so that's no excuse.

However, given Marc's explanation, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and give him one more shot next week on a few big cherry picks.

But, really, I need to get these rocks cooking asap or it will be too late for me.

make sure you cure it!!!!
I got 25lbs last week and started curing in a rubbermaid. I checked the ammonia yesterday and it was off the chart!!!
Awesome looking rock, will definitely order more if I can squeeze it in...

whats a macro rock?

lol

The site says the finest dry and base rock, i assume its dried LR. I dont understand the slide show tho, it appears they make shapes with acrylic rods and mount them to plates but maybe that was for his own use?
Cant beat the price on shipping a 50 pound box tho
:eek1:

They say organics are left deep in the pockets.

this is true with any dead liverock.

i'll be washing mine in a mix of muriatic acid and ro/di water. the muriatic acid forces a low ph which releases bound nutrients.
