What is wrong with my mushroom

I have had my mushroom for about six months and now something is on it or in it and it is not fully oppened. what is wrong with it and how can i correct this.

please let me know whats wrong and whats happening to it

Mushrooms expel their guts from their mouths when they get stressed. Maybe something was harassing it?

Mine does that sometimes, only about half that amount though. Usually it gets like that when my blenny knocks the plug over that the mushroom is on. Mine usually goes back to normal by the next day.

This or something is out of whack with your water parameters. Please list, temp, salinity, pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, calcium, alkilinity, magnesium. Also, list anything you are dosing.

When I first got my large green hairy mushroom, it did that but it went back to normal in a day or two. Just wait it out and it should be fine...probably just stressed out.

Something is off in your tank. If thats a purple mushroom you should be able to take the rock out throw on the floor kick to the wall till it rips off:hammer: throw the peices back in the tank and end up with at least two mushrooms.

Yeah, what topwater said. They're about indestructible. You could cut off the foot, cut the cap like a pizza, and end up with 6 or 8 shrooms down the road. Check your parameters, or maybe a fish or invert ticked it off. It should be back to normal soon.
